Daryle Maycroft

Daryle Lee Maycroft, age 73, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022. He was born in Grand Haven, MI to the late Gordon Sr. and Rita (Lemr) Maycroft. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Lyle Maycroft, brothers-in-law Ron DeWitt and John VanDenBrink. Daryle served in the United States Army, was a Charter member on the Allendale American Legion, he enjoyed spending time with his family, liked to go out on the lake fishing, spending time camping, traveling the world and was an active member at Ottawa Center Chapel. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 50 years Sally Maycroft; children, Janet Maycroft, Scott (Tracy) Maycroft, Karen (Ben) Kroll, Brian Maycroft; grandchildren, Samantha Maycroft, Alexander Maycroft, Dakota Maycroft, Hannah Maycroft, Gabriel Ransom, Jamie Maycroft, Emma Maycroft, Colton Maycroft, Isabel Ransom, Amber Maycroft, Mya Maycroft; great granddaughter, Analia Kuzma; siblings, Kathy DeWitt, Randy Maycroft, Gordon Jr. (Stacey) Maycroft and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Ottawa Center Chapel, 8991 Leonard St, Coopersville, MI 49404. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, February 25, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Church and one hour prior to the service Saturday.
