Comforted by his fianceé�a�a��, Jeanelle Zylstra, and surrounded by his family, Dale Ramon Spicer, age 40, passed peacefully on to a better place on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Dale was pre-deceased by his father, Donald D. Spicer, Sr., and his grandparents. He is survived by Jeanelle & the Zylstra family; his daughter, Jessie; his mother, Margaret A. Spicer; and his siblings & their spouses é�a�" Don & Jerri Spicer, Dan & Robin Spicer, Cathy & Tim Jonio, Don & Karen Friskey, and Mike & Mindy Spicer; as well as several nieces & nephews; cousins & friends. A lifelong Coopersville resident, Dale worked at American Metals & Plastics and loved to fish and hunt. He spent free time in his yard, garden, & garage, or at the Zylstra cottage on Billé�a�a��s Lake. Our tough guy had a fighting spirit and a heart of gold that we will forever miss. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider the Alzheimeré�a�a��s Association or the American Cancer Society. Funeral services will be held Friday 1:00 pm at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville. Fr. Dave Gross officiating. Burial in Rosedale Memorial Park in Standale.
