Dale Konyndyk

Dale Allan Konyndyk, age 59, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Dale was born in Grand Rapids, MI to Clarence and Joan (Koldenhoven) Konyndyk. He was preceded in death by his father Clarence. Dale truly loved his family – especially his two sons and his grandchildren. He taught them, and many others, how to fish, how to hunt, and how to enjoy God’s great outdoors. Dale was appreciated by so many as he was always willing to lend a helping hand to whomever had a need. Dale spent countless hours exploring and enjoying God’s amazing creation – including hunting throughout the state of Michigan as well as enjoying many trips out West and to Alaska. Dale enjoyed fishing inland lakes, the great lakes, rivers, almost anywhere there was water. He will be deeply missed by countless friends and his children, Chad (Amanda) Konyndyk, Dustin Konyndyk; 3 grandchildren; mother, Joan Konyndyk; siblings, Dan Konyndyk, Debra (Steve) Datema and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Lamont Christian Reformed Church (4745 Leonard St, Coopersville, MI 49404) from 1:00 - 3:00 PM with a Memorial service following at 3:00 PM. with pastor Steve Datema officiating.
