Cora Scherencel

Scherencel Mrs Cora Nellie Scherencel, aged 84, of Coopersville passed away Friday Dec. 11, 2009. She was preceded in death by her sisters Florence Camfferman, and Lorraine Bolthuis. Surviving are her husband Ronald; children Rhonda (Robert) Caldwell, Randy (Helen) Scherencel, Don (Betty) Scherencel, and David Scherencel; grandchildren Melinda Caldwell, Elizabeth Caldwell, Jason (Fawn) Scherencel, Jordan Scherencel, Lacie Holly, Nickolas Marvin, Crystal (Nate) Adolphson, and Lynn Marvin; great grandson Riegel; great granddaughter Halle Kidwell; brothers and sisters Ellen Rozema, Floyd VanderJagt, Howard (Karen) VanderJagt, Leonard (Esther) VanderJagt, Ken (Grace) VanderJagt, Roger (Sherri) VanderJagt, Don (Loraine) VanderJagt, Marian (Gordon) Alderink, Betty (Jim) Baker, and Nancy Torgelson; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday 1:30 PM at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville. Pastor Ronald Mills officiating. Burial at Maple Hill Cemetery in Wright Twp. Visitation Sunday evening 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Throop Funeral Home, Coopersville. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to Alzheimers Association.
