Mr. Claire Sherwood Romberger, age 84, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015. He was born in Elizabethville, PA. to Harvey and Susan (Long) Romberger who preceded him in death. Claire was also preceded in death by his wife Jeanette on Oct 14, 2006, his infant son Joseph Paul and two sisters Anna Hoover and Betty Cooper. Claire served in the U.S. Marine Corp in Korea, was retired from Continental Motors in Muskegon, and enjoyed spending time with his family and socializing with his military buddies and friends. He was a faithful member of St. Michaels Parish in Coopersville. He was a skilled metal worker and could be called upon to help family and friends with repairs. Claire will be deeply missed by his children, James and Sheila Romberger, David and Maria Romberger, Thomas and Theresa Romberger, Timothy Romberger, Cheryl and David Oswald and Lorie and Steve Schmitt; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Shirley Blair; brothers-in-law George Homoly and Art Homoly; sisters-in-law Marion (Carl) Nelson, Sandra Collins, Sharon (Eustis) Collins and Carol (Fred) Schmidt along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 18, 2015 at St Michaelé�a�a��s Parish, 17150 88th Ave, Coopersville with Fr. Anton Tran Celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Michaelé�a�a��s Parish Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday one hour prior to the Mass at Church.
