Chester Bartlette

Chester R. Bartlette, age 85, of Grand Rapids formerly of Coopersville, was called to heaven, Saturday, December 6, 2014. Chester was born in Rockford, MI. to Victor and Rose (Burt) Bartlette who preceded him in death. Chester owned and operated Bartlette Appraisal Services and sold heavy equipment in the Grand Rapids and surrounding area. He was a member of the Coopersville Bible Church and served his country in the US Air Force. He is survived by his wife Joan; 3 sons, Chester Jr (Charlotte) Bartlette, Bill (Jill) Bartlette and Tim Bartlette; 5 grandchildren, Chester III Bartlette, Theodore (Alison) Bartlette, Allie Bartlette, Seth Bartlette and Matt Bartlette; 3 great grandchildren, Trison, Evan and Aero; brother, Charles (Dolores)Bartlette; sister, Dolores Barns and several nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, 12 noon at the Coopersville Bible Church in Coopersville with Rev Tim McGarvery officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Memorial Park, Grand Rapids. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday one hour prior to the service at Church. Memorial donations may be made to Coopersville Bible Church, 35 Hillcrest St, Coopersville, MI 49404.
