Charles Lillibridge

Charles Frederick Lillibridge, age 90, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021. He was born in Marne, MI to the late Charles and Elizabeth (Ashenbrenner) Lillibridge. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Sally Lillibridge, brothers Gordon Lillibridge and Arvin Lillibridge, infant brother Phillip Lillibridge, sister Aleah Brouwer and brother-in-law Chuck Brouwer and sister-in-law Marge Lillibridge. Charles served in the United States Army, loved working on the farm and spending time on the golf course. He also enjoyed his time spent with grandkids and great-grandkids. He worked many jobs from owning and operating the Lillibridge Bros. Garage with his brother Gordon for 28 years to working at Competition Engineering, DeWys Manufacturing and retiring from Neville Hardware. Charles will be deeply missed by his sons, David (Cindy) Lillibridge, Dan (Jan) Lillibridge; grandchildren, Phil (Erin) Lillibridge, Brad (Ashley) Lillibridge, Alicia (Chris) Gould, Amanda (Joe) Stehouwer, Nate (Jamie) Lillibridge; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Jim Lillibridge, sisters-in-law, Loralee Lillibridge and Donna Lillibridge and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Berlin Baptist Church, 14141 State St, Marne, MI 49435 with Rev. Jeff Gunderman officiating. Burial will take place in Rosedale Memorial Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the Berlin Baptist Church.
