Van Zyl Celeste A. of Coopersville, MI. Mrs Celeste A. Van Zyl, age 93, was called to her heavenly home, Friday, June 9, 2017. She was born in Belding, MI. to the late Elwyn and Lottie (Heintz) Williams. Celeste was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Robert Van Zyl in 2003, grandchildren, Matthew Van Zyl, Andrew Van Zyl, Ashley Van Zyl, and Jenny Rebecca Van Zyl; siblings Elwyn "Bill" Williams Jr., Ruth Mason and Roger Williams. She was retired from Wyoming Public Schools where she was a teacher. She is survived by her children, Dr. Ruth Reiniche, Pastor Robert Jr. and Katie Van Zyl, Rebecca and Doug Postlewait and David Van Zyl; grandchildren, Josh Reiniche, Sarah Reiniche, Amy Beth and Jorge Chavarro, Katie Anne Van Zyl, Miranda Rachael and Jon Vasquez, Kyle Alexandra Postlewait, Caleb Zachary Postlewait, Maxamillian Paul Postlewait and Samuel Ian Postlewait; great grandchildren, Evi Willow Reiniche, Amos Olfield Reiniche, Isabella Chavarro, Ana Sofia Chavarro and Lara Van Zyl; sister Maxine Rowley; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 18, 2017, 12:00 noon at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, MI. 49404 with her son Pastor Robert Van Zyl Jr and Rev Sandra Nikkel officiating. Burial will be in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday June 15, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm and on Sunday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
