Carolyn Drake

Carolyn M. Drake, age 96, of Grand Rapids formerly of Marne, passed away Friday July 31, 2015 with her daughter at her side. She was born in Conklin, MI. to the late Edwin and Ethel (Ford) Stephens. In addition to her parents Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Calvin, brother and sister-in-law Ford and Jenniemae Stephens, sisters and brothers-in-law, Leta and Sy Taylor and Mildred and Fred Fritz. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Drake; son and daughter-in-law, Edwin and Nita Drake; 2 grandchildren and their spouses, Terry and Carla Vander Molen and Jeane Marie and Stuart Smith; 7 great grandchildren and 6 special nieces and nephews and their families. A Life Celebration service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 8th at the Marne United Methodist Church. Private family interment will take place at the Marne Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday, August 8th one hour prior to the service at church.
