Bruce Cumberworth Sr.

Bruce A. Cumberworth Sr., age 77, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Dorothy (Dunn) Cumberworth and brother, Douglas Cumberworth. Bruce served in the U.S. Army, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing cards, gardening, and spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, golfing and was an avid bowler. He was an active member of the Coopersville Lions Club and Coopersville Sportsman’s Club. Bruce is survived by his wife of 54 yrs., Dorothy; sons, Mark (Christine), Bruce Jr. (Alice), Christopher (Angela), Curtis (Jennifer) and Wayne (Stacey); 11 grandchildren, Erica, Elizabeth, Ryan, Nichole, Ben, Tim, Hailey, Amanda, Alison, Bryce and Easton; sisters, Donna Donahoe, Deanna Cameron and Danielle Ashley; sister-in-law, Joanne Fortin, brothers-in-law, Dick (Kathy) Poelma and Frank Lampe; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday 1:00 P.M. at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville with Rev. Cori Conran officiating. Burial will take place at the Coopersville Cemetery. Relatives and Friends may greet the family Friday 5-8 pm and Saturday 12 noon to 1 pm at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville. Memorial donations may be made to the Coopersville Lions Club.
