Bonnie Ann Opperman

Bonnie Ann Opperman, age 79, of Coopersville went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Monday, January 29, 2024. She was born in Wayland, MI to the late Donald and Marian (Bush) Freeman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Brit Opperman; daughter, Nicole Opperman; brother, Donald Freeman; brother-in-law, Chuck Patton and son-in-law Randy Near. Bonnie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing cards with friends and doing crossword puzzles. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Kim Near, Lisa (Russell) Bosch; grandchildren, Andrew (Chloe) Near, Kiya Near, Zackery Near, Logan (Jessica) Mastbergen, Austin Moore, Ronald Verner III, Nickalas (Jaelyn) Bosch; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Rodger (Adele) Freeman; sisters, Elaine Patton, Linda (Dick) Groendyke; sister-in-law, Susan Freeman and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wish cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Berlin Baptist Church, 14141 State St, Marne, MI 49435 with Pastor Jeff Gunderman officiating. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Berlin Baptist Church and Wednesday one hour prior to the service at church.
