Mrs. Billie JoAnn (Sherman) Hill, age 72, of Wyoming, MI. formerly of Conklin, MI., passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019 at her home with family at her side. Billie was born in Grand Rapids, MI. on June 6, 1947 to the late William and Margaret (Calvin) Sherman. She was a graduate of Coopersville High School, Class of 1965, worked in assisted care living as an LPN and retired from Sunset Manor in 2014. In addition to her parents Billie was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Hill in 1992 and her sister Patricia “Patty” Winn in 2012. Billie is survived by her 3 sons, Albert Hill, Jeffrey (Terri) Hill and Stephen (Joyce) Hill; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister Linda (Mark) Karel; brother, Robert Sherman and fiance Kris; brothers-in-law, Stanley Winn and Roy Hill; sisters-in-law Audrey Bryant and Nancy Hill; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at the Throop Funeral Home with her nephew Rev Mike Metten officiating. Burial will take place in the Marne Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family 5 – 8 PM Friday evening Nov. 1, 2019 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, MI 49404.
