Bernice Throop

Bernice Marie (Veeneman) Throop age 91 of Coopersville passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019. Bernice was born in Polkton Twp. Michigan to the late Gert H. and Sophie M. (Moss) Veeneman. She worked many years as a Loan Officer for Huntington Bank. Bernice was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law Harvey and Louise Veeneman, sister and brother-in-law Margaret and Paul Breen, sister Ruth Veeneman, husband Harlind L. Throop and nephew Drew Veeneman. Bernice is survived by her nephews Don Veeneman and Kalvin Veeneman; several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews; step-children Clark Throop, Karen and Robert Lemmen and LeRoy and Barb Throop; several step-grandchildren and step-great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 - 7 pm at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville with the Funeral Service following the visitation Wednesday evening at 7:00 P.M. Rev. Ralph Robrahns officiating. Burial will take place Thursday morning 10:00 AM at the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Coopersville Reformed Church.
