Poley- Barbara Lynn Poley, age 59, went home to be with her Lord and Savior after bravely fighting pancreatic cancer, with her family by her side. She was born and raised in Eastmanville in 1963 and later built her home with her husband down the road from where she grew up in 1986. The home was then filled with six children and, later, three grandchildren. Barb enjoyed being outside, no matter how hot it was, she preferred it. She took pride in farming and starting their own blueberry farm. She loved going for drives up north with her family every year; camping was a must. Barb was most happy when around family, especially her grandkids. As a loving mother, she was a phenomenal cook who tried to please all her children with every meal. Barb was the best listener and biggest cheerleader for each of her kids. She passed on her incredible strength and persistence onto her children. She was a very loving and compassionate wife to her husband of 39 years. Her laugh was contagious, and her smile touched the souls of everyone she met. She is preceded in death by her father Garrett Prins. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jon; children, Caleb, Michelle (Jared), Tyler (Stephanie), Travis, Erin (Caleb), Edwin; grandchildren, Levi, Carter, Trenton; siblings, Hank (Mary), Elma, Der (Bev), Marv (Kristi), Carla, Steve (Amy), and her mother Winnie Prins. In keeping with her wish, Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life ceremony is yet to come. Online Condolences may be left on her tribute wall at www.throopfh.com Throop Funeral Home, Coopersville, 616-837-8161
