Arvin L. Lillibridge, age 85, of Marne, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 11, 2019. Arvin was born in Wright Twp. MI to the late Charles and Betty (Aschenbrenner) Lillibridge. He was also preceded in death by his infant granddaughter Angie Lillibridge, sister and brother-in-law Aleah and Chuck Brouwer, brother Gordon Lillibridge and sisters-in-law Sally and Marge Lillibridge. Arvin served in the Naval Reserves and worked for Kamminga and Roodvoets for 40 years as a heavy equipment operator building roads. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, spending time with family and friends, traveling and had a great sense of humor. Arvin is survived by his wife of 66 yrs. Donna Lillibridge (Parps); children, Arva Jean (Ernie) Sommers, Rick (Lonnie) Lillibridge, Diane Klein and Kris (Mark) Mason; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren with another to arrive in October; brothers Charles Lillibridge and Jim Lillibridge; brother-in-law Art Parps and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Monday, July 15th, 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Congregational Church, 2725 4 Mile Rd NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49544, with Pastor Aaron Smith officiating. Burial will be at Rosedale Cemetery in Standale. Visitation Sunday afternoon 4 – 7 P.M. at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville.
