Alvin Tibbe

Tibbe Mr Alvin Tibbe, aged 89, of Coopersville passed away Wednesday Feb 16, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife Gloria June 14, 1996, and brothers Gerald and Louis. He was born May 20, 1921 in Fremont, MI to Gerrit and Dena (Walda) Tibbe. Al was an active member of the Coopersville community for many years and was employed by the Ottawa Co. Road Commission for 20 years. He is survived by his children Dan (Judy) Tibbe, Larry Tibbe, Susanne Evans, Dr. Rosemary Tibbe-Smith PHD, Kevin Tibbe, Clark (Ann) Tibbe; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister-in-law Donna Tibbe and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday March 5, 2011 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, MI. Rev John Morse officiating. Friends may meet the family Saturday March 5th from 1 to 2 pm at the funeral home.
