Alice Arlene Cook

July 19, 1931 — October 15, 2023

Alice Arlene Cook, age 92, of Coopersville, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023. She was born in Shelby, MI to the late John and Gertrude (Folkema) Dykstra, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Cook; sons, Milton, Harvey Jr. and Jeffery; brothers, Enoch Dykstra, Wilber Dykstra and Gerald Dykstra; sisters-in-law, Molly Dykstra and Donna Dykstra; brothers-in-law, Ted Broere and Arthur McGinnis. Alice will be deeply missed by her children, Gary Cook and Anita (Robert) Hegner; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Mamie Teske, Donna McGinnis, Carl (Linda) Dykstra, Gerda Systma, Shirley (Doug) Zwyghuizen, John Dykstra, Allen (Gloria) Dykstra, Helen Broere, Virginia (Roger) Dykhuis, Linda (Alvin) Longiliere, Louise (Paul) Bronner; sisters-in-law, Grace Dykstra, Phyllis Dykstra and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wish cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Ottawa Center Chapel, 8991 Leonard St, Coopersville, MI 49404, with Rev. Bob Porterfield officiating. Burial will take place in Grand Haven Twp. Cemetery. A luncheon after the service will be held for a continued time of fellowship with the family.
