Mr Albin Leo Lothschutz, age 76, of Ravenna, MI., passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016. He was born in Grand Rapids MI to the late Albert and Clara (Courtade) Lothschutz. Albin was a lifelong farmer in Wright Twp. as well as a life member of St Joseph Catholic Church in Wright and honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus St Vincent DePaul Council 4404 in Conklin, MI. Albin is survived by his wife, Cecilia; children, Albert (Kathy) Lothschutz, Maury (Martha) Lothschutz, Rick Lothschutz, Wayne (Angela) Lothschutz and Ann (Eric) Burgtorf; 12 grandchildren; his first soon to arrive great grandchild; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frank (Joyce) Arends, Rose Knauf, Herm (Karen) Arends, Albert Arends, Sue (Jim) Dietrich, Cathy (Mike) Flierman, Irene Bosman and Charles (Pat) Arends along with many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents Albin was preceded in death by his infant son, Gary; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John (Barb) Arends, Sherry Arends, Lois Arends and Ron Knauf. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 5th, at St Joseph Catholic Church, 18760 8th Ave, Conklin, MI 49403, with Fr. Fred Brucker celebrant. Interment in St Joseph Catholic Cemetery at Conklin. Visitation Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville with the Rosary Sunday evening at 8 pm and Tuesday one hour prior to the mass at Church.
