Gerald Brooks

Gerald Brooks, age 73, of Ravenna, MI was welcomed home by Jesus on November 24, 2021.  He was an amazing husband, father, son, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend to his beloved family.  He is survived by his wife of almost 30 years, Susan Brooks; his children, William (Angela) Brooks, Gidget (Earl) Campbell, Russell (Lisa) Bosch, Angela (Thomas) Dykstra, Christine (David) Austin, Michelle (Anthony) Stitt, Jackie (John) Hoag, and Candace Bosch; 27 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Marianne Wright; brother, John Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer & Corrine Smith and several brothers and sisters. He worked at Amstore Corporation and Goodwill for several years.  He enjoyed fellowship at Nortonville Gospel Chapel, camping, traveling, fishing, and attending sporting events.  His family looks forward to being reunited in Heaven but will miss him here on earth. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the Berlin Baptist Church, 14141 State St, Marne, MI 49435, with Rev. Joe O’Neill officiating. Burial will take place at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday, November 29, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Berlin Baptist Church, 14141 State St, Marne, MI 49435 and Tuesday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at church.
